Chartered Civil and Structural Engineer

Andrew Stokoe is a Chartered Civil & Structural Engineer and, therefore, a member of The Institutions of Civil & Structural Engineers.

He obtained his Honours Degree at Kingston University, having graduated in 1982.

Since graduation, Andrew initially worked on large civil engineering projects, both in this country and abroad. Andrew was the Site Engineer on the telescope dome in La Palma and for Canadian Contractors, Britain Steel, this being the largest telescope dome in Europe.

On return to England, he obtained his design experience with a number of consultants in London.

In 1991 Andrew formed ADS Associates, which has now been in practice for in excess of 20 years. The consultancy acts both as Structural Engineers and Surveyors, where he has specialised in the structural appraisal of properties and particularly where foundation movement has been suffered in the form of settlement or heave.

Andrew also acts as a Party Wall Surveyor, which offers the additional benefit to clients of his structural engineering knowledge, when dealing in this capacity.

The majority of work undertaken in design ranges from basement to loft conversions and the design of new build structures up to typically £3 Million in value.
